"It was a privilege to work alongside MasterCard in delivering our solution as part of their vision to transform and update their billing process to match a rapidly evolving global business model"

ENGLEWOOD, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Intec, recently acquired by CSG Systems (NASDAQ: CSGS) and one of the world’s leading providers of Business Support System (BSS) solutions to the global telecom industry, announced today that MasterCard Worldwide (NYSE: MA) commenced production in January 2011 on Intec’s market-leading products, Singl.eView and Inter-mediatE. MasterCard, one of the world’s leading transaction processors and payments companies, is using Intec’s integrated convergent billing, customer management and mediation solution as the core of MasterCard’s billing lifecycle management process.

Intec’s flexible and proven solution provides MasterCard with enhanced billing assurance and error management capabilities, along with faster time to market for any required changes. In addition, the Intec solution supports flexible pricing plans for new payment business models, delivering an extended range of current and future fee structures, enabling MasterCard to more efficiently meet the needs of its business.

Millions of transaction records from numerous network sources are collected daily by Intec’s mediation system for correlation, duplicate checking, enrichment and the generation of billing events. These enriched records are then passed to the Intec pricing, billing and customer management system to be priced (on an individual, aggregate, regional and contract-level basis), billed, invoiced and settled across multiple billing cycles and frequency.

“It was a privilege to work alongside MasterCard in delivering our solution as part of their vision to transform and update their billing process to match a rapidly evolving global business model,” said Michael Henderson, executive vice president of sales and marketing for CSG Systems. “While we approach each client engagement as a partnership for success, our delivery model philosophy is to create vendor independence. This philosophy is reflected not only in our approach but is also inherent in the flexibility of our solution. We are confident that with our solution’s ability to grow and adapt to new requirements over time, MasterCard will enjoy continuing success using our solution at the core of their business.”
